My Background
I love the direct mark making that can be achieved using charcoal sticks, pencils and loose charcoal powder on paper. These are artist staples that I never grow tired of. I am equally drawn to juicy, colorful oil paints and the exciting effects of brushing oil based pigment onto canvas. These are the two areas of discovery that constitute my current body of work.
